This scanner is probably the best I've ever owned as far as audio quality and sensitivity. The controls feel great, a solid well built unit with a metal case. It picks up very well with the supplied antenna. Since I am in a rental buidling, I cannot put up an outdoor antenna. A magnetic mount scanner antenna will increase the range. I think this
